I knows they didnt have them but i can imagine that lots of people would want them for the fun side of things..

I sure will D-O my idea is if i take the smoke.spr file and change it to flash.spr and a few other little bits and pieces it should work im going to give it a go as soon as i find the flash.spr file or one witch does the same

Thanks diamond optics

well just changing the sprite wont really create a flashbang effect...

you'd be better off like checking if anyone is around the flashbang when it goes off and if it is in their line of sight.. then do something like a white screen fade on them

maybe check the fireworks plugin models or sprites and use the strobe they have in there , and , use some of the shellshock plugin for the "ring" you would get from a flashbang.

Or you can use the half life 1 tool pack (http://files.moddb.com/2565/download-magxs-half-life-1-tool-pack-v11/)'s sprite converter to compile your own .spr file from an image.

I made you an image to start off with. Should get the job done.
