Damnit, they didn't include the fix for get_weaponname() so it works for DoD. I reported it a while ago here (http://bugs.alliedmods.net/index.php?do=details&task_id=1013)...

Hopefully by the next update we can have that. The workaround for it is such a pain in the arse.

is this worth downloading now or should we wait for things to get ironed out. just asking is there a big difference in 176.d to 1.8

this should be totally safe to run.. plus the 1st line in the release thread says: "This is a huge update, adding many features and fixing plenty of bugs" so it might be worth at least checking out lol.. tho when updating amxx you should always rename or make a backup of your current amxmodx setup just incase you want/need to switch back

they did have a public beta of it up with nightly builds for quite some time so there shouldnt be too many bugs left, at least nothing major.


gotta admit, im happy that the new dod modules are in it :D dont think it says anything in the change log bout them, but the include files have the new natives and such.. should open up some new possiblities :)

this is quite important...

if you're planning on updating to amxx 1.8.0, use the nightly builds here: http://www.amxmodx.org/nightly.php

as they contain the fixed dodx module

and if you already have 1.8.0 installed you can just use the dodx module binary from the nightly builds and dont need to do the full install
