Spec delay

Well, I have a problem and I need a plug in. Basic function to stop spec hopping.



This is what I am aiming for …..



When they join spec then join team to avoid spawn tiems, I want to make them wait longer then normal. If possible I want them to wait 45 seconds and while they are in the wait process I would like them to receive a motd still message linking to an adjustable web link to pop up on them. I would also like to gag them and prevent chat while waiting..



On/off feature

Weblink feature

45 second wait

Gag the mic

Provent chat messages



Do you think this would be possible to build a source code for me? I really have no experience with amxx codes and need some ones help here. This also should be able to be used with earlier release of amxx.

sorry i havent had a chance to respond to your email yet.. so i guess ill just say something here instead for now lol..

....

it wouldnt be too hard to do.. the respawn timer stuff would be simple as i could just rip that out of the dod block exploits source code. and the rest of the stuff is pretty basic..

cant really say if i can get around to it soon (as ive already made too many plugin-related promises that i cant keep lol) but maybe ill get bored enough on my days off this week (monday & tuesday) to throw something together at least...

otherwise if someone else wants to go ahead and do it before i can, let me know and ill get the code for the respawn delay stuff (well unless you already have a copy of the dod block exploits source code, which would probably be out of date anyway :P)

TatsuSaisei and I have talked about this early to night. I received an email for the plug in to be used on other servers. I recommend it. People who try to spec hop tend to complain because of my web link involved has a flash file with music. The player who attempts to spec hope can not turn off the music without waiting till the music ends or leaving the server. I love it, sort of a revenge thing. You never see any one that tried to spec hop either, you only see people join spec and then either complain about my music or leave the server soon after they joined spectator. They come back but they do not try spec hopping again.
