If I enable sv_downloadurl and sv_allowdownload and I upload some maps to dod-sv host and other hosts ... then which is a priority to work??

I want to enable 2 orders for my sv .. sv_downloadurl for downloading map .. sv_allowdownload for downloading logo(I also sv_allowupload 1 )

sv_downloadurl "http://whatever..."
Directs the client to the HTTP location specified to download the files that the server requires. If the file does not exist, it defaults to the server to download directly from it.

sv_allowdownload "1"
Allows or disallows the client from downloading from the server directly.


In other words, you can have both enabled. If a file is not present on the fast downloads server, it will automatically download it from your server directly (if allowdownload is enabled).

1 question about the sv_download i am using it at mo on the server buton some custom maps it will not download the wad file is there a way to get it to cuz it gettin annoying to say the least

is the wad file in a *.res file for the map?

First of all, like diamond asked, do you have a .res file created for the map (and is the wad file in it)?

If so and you already tried all that, search google and find another download for the map - I've encountered this problem plenty of times and all you need to do is find the map somewhere else and it might do it for you. I know it's a little vague but it works :-P

yeah its in the res file i always make sure of that but it dont download and when it does it goes in the wrong place :s how do i stop this from happenng and get it to download correctly?
