Do any of u guys how use shrikebot also have problems with them spawning in random places?

Mine does, on my caen server there is always one right after round restart that spawns outside the bank :mad:

Btw this is my list of plugins. Cant imagien that any of those could cause any problems...

ive noticed that bots will sometime spawn where the info_player_observer entity is.. not sure what the cause is or if its just a random problem with the bots themselves

Yeah that fits with that entity... So well that means if we want bots to function we must have windows servers and run sturmbot 17?

If yes that would suck since there is alot of plugins that dont work on the WIN32 platform...

from something wilson brought up to me about other stuff that has to do with setting user classes in a particular fashion.. i think it might be cause you are running the avamods_botmod plugin (which i am as well lol)

im gonna try and get time (hah if that ever happens) to really look into it on a local server and see myself.. but do you happen to know what team and what weapon/class these bots are that spawn there? is it like always the same? etc

and i would be willing to say if you turned off that plugin it might stop doing that

Well i will rather have bots spawning in random places, then have em all snipers and heavy classes..

ya i agree with you on that....

would be nice if the shrikebot config stuff actually worked lol

at the very least i could probably make it strip the bots weapons and give them new ones instead if need be, but ill look into it more later on :)

lol yeah they just wont read that damn *.cfg file...

Well since i started this they have been acting "normal" u know.. But ill reply when they start again, kind of looks like its only when the server havent been rebooted for like 120 hours or so...

And yeah it would be cool if they got striped, but again the classes would still mean something.. lol i tryed to make them all chat /k98 and /enfield with weaponmod running, but again they are just a pain since they fill classes sniper and heavy weapons...

Who made these bots in the 1st place?

Oh and a quistion for Wilson if u are looking. Is it possible to "get origin" with paramod while spectating?

I've noticed this as well and I even made a post about it at Shrikebot but that was a couple years ago. I think it was something to do with class restrictions on the bots. I don't use that plugin you two were talking about but on some maps I had the bots restricted to certain weapons. Sometimes they would spawn where the info_player_observer entity was...ugh bad grammar lol. I gave up and just relied on class restrictions on everyone (bots and real players) to dictate what weapons they use but the bots choose the class anyways and just don't spawn. Don't think anyone came up with a fix.
