Psychostats rank while in game

Hello all

Just a little plugin ive been working on for those of you who have psycho stats on your servers.

All you have to do is the following

Set amx_psrank_url in amx.cfg to PsychoStats base web URL
(trailing forward slash (/) needed)

i would also advise adding your site link to the .SMA file.

Example: amx_psrank_url "http://www.yoursite.co.uk/stats/"

Server commands are as follows:-

:search [PLAYER NAME] // does a search with string entered as player name

:mystats // shows your player's stats (name on stats must match in game)

:topclan // shows clan page

- :psychotop // shows all players stats

:psychoranks // shows all players stats

Make sure you add the : before the commands in chat ive used : instead / as / didnt seem to work on any of my servers or my friends servers.

Yeah u need to give your pc time to load up all of the page it displays that probably why you cant scroll down or try clicking and grabbing the scroll bar at the side its because you are trying to load a site that uses your internet connection at the same time as playing dod, so it slows everything down if u have a slow connection to start with

Tryed this today it works, it calls the website but it crashes your game....

I haven't used this plugin yet but I might know why you can't scroll. I noticed this when using a plugin which used a motd window to display information on anything you want. At that moment I was using a no-scroll addition in my original motd.txt which disabled scrolling for me for any plugin which used the motd window.

I don't know if that's the case or that im just talking BS...but might be worth looking into.

well thats odd now isnt it...

using beyond compare to do a side by side comparison.. the actual 'code' is exactly the same...

the only differences are the comments (tho even some of them are very similar), some client_print's are slightly different, the commands used for calling the functions via chat are slightly different too.. and of course the register_plugin line is different


and i notice no credits given to original author.. which there definitly should be considering how 99% of the code is taken from that other plugin which was released well over a year prior to this one.. (and the person that released that one, gave credit to the original author)


ill admit i was a bit suspicious of it to begin with because there isnt really too many different ways to do this kind of stuff.. but never looked into it at all.. i even have a psychostats plugin i did thats not entirely mine, (but i did it when psychostats v3.1 first came out and the old plugins didnt work right with it) but i never released it or anything...


this clearly is a violation of common sense.. plus the fact that it has nothing to do with dod it shouldnt really be here in the 1st place i suppose...

so im throwing this one into the trash heap
