First, I know I have become very active here lately, but I blame that on you guys being very nice and responding to me, being very helpful. So if I am becoming a pest, warn me now... I got 2 weeks off before school starts again, so I will be doing alot of coding in the mean time (taking C++ this fall !!)
Anyways, I already have this plugin I made, its very vile in what it does. It is a banning tool, that makes banning someone "fun" for the person who banned the idiot... (ever have those retards who pissed you off you wanted to literally slap them ?? this is closest thing to doing just that)
Anyways, right before it bans the person, it "skews" their view (see dod_evilvision), raises mp3 volume to max, then slaps the shit out of them doing 1 damage a slap til they die.... all the time they are being slapped, only they hear the slap sound (which is hella loud now) up to 100 times, then it changes their name, and kicks them out of the server. When the player is kicked, then the people on the server hear a "goodbye" sound, and a message is displayed to the rest that so and so was forcibly ejected from the server.
I love it as it is now, but I got to thinking... I wanted to make it more interesting to the rest of the players who are around....
what I want to do is slap them til they are almost dead, then make them explode. I have the code all set to detect the users health, but need the "explode" code. It simply just need to make the player explode in a flash, using one of the games orange fire sprites.... but here is the kicker.... once the person explodes, I would like gibs to fly out, and then have an assortment of "goodies" appear fall from where the person exploded...
Goodies would be simple things like grenades, ammo boxes, odd weapons, health packs, etc...
The explode code is a bit daunting for me, and I am trying to create this other plugin right now, so I don't have "time" to learn to do this right now...
Noone has to help, or go out of their way to "work" at this... but if it sounds like something that would be "easy" for any of you to whip up, I would forever be in your debt...
then I would like call it "dod_pinata_ban" (fun banning tool)
