Decals won't show in map....

Hi. Im not new to mapping but far from experienced. But I haven't encountered this problem before.

(I use Valve hammer 3.5)
I put decals around my map but they won't show up in game? Someone suggested increasing my mp_decals setting but it didn't work. I suspect the error is not on the client side but in the mapping.

Any suggestions?

Lol. I found out myself, but I'll leave it here in case someone else stumble across the same issue.

I tried to apply normal textures as decals, which is not allowed. You gotta use textures starting with a { and not containing the blue thing.
