Here is an assortment of tools I use for mapping and other HL related stuff. Some of these are repeats from other threads but in case the links go down or if my versions are newer, I have hosted these on one of my own servers so they will always be available.

BSP Viewer is as the name says. It lets you open a map and move around in it.
BSP Viewer 1.56 (http://www.rivurs.com/downloads/dodplugins/bspviewer156.exe)

HL Model Viewer lets you open and view models along with making some changes such as the texture and size.
HL Model Viewer 1.25 (http://www.rivurs.com/downloads/dodplugins/HLModelViewer1.25.rar)

RESGen creates resource files that list files that need to be precached for a particular map on your server.
RESGen 2.0.2 (http://www.rivurs.com/downloads/dodplugins/RESGen2.0.2.rar)

Revolver allows you to quickly make complex shapes for your maps instead of having to create them by hand with vertex manipulation.
Revolver b1 (http://www.rivurs.com/downloads/dodplugins/Revolver_B1.zip)

Sprite Viewer allows you to view sprites.
Sprite Viewer 1.04 (http://www.rivurs.com/downloads/dodplugins/SprView1.04.rar)

Sprite Wizard allows you to create your own sprites.
Sprite Wizard 1.1 (http://www.rivurs.com/downloads/dodplugins/SprWiz1.1.rar)

Wally is used to create your own wad files and custom sprays.
Wally 1.55 (http://www.rivurs.com/downloads/dodplugins/Wally1.55.rar)

Win BSPC is mainly a bsp converter/decompiler. While not perfect, it was the only one I found that gave acceptable results. It also works with pak, sin and map files.
Win BSPC 1.4 (http://www.rivurs.com/downloads/dodplugins/winbspc_1.4.rar)

Zoner's Half-Life Tools are a must when creating your own maps. The stock compilers are very restricted so use these instead.
Zoner's HL Tools 3.4 Final x86 version (32-bit CPU) (http://www.rivurs.com/downloads/dodplugins/zhlt34x86final.rar)
Zoner's HL Tools 3.4 Final x64 version (64-bit CPU OS must be 64bit as well!) (http://www.rivurs.com/downloads/dodplugins/zhlt34x64final.zip)
