at the risk of getting "hollered" at over this... what is the story with the logo on the top of the forum ??
For a while now it has been HUGE and stretched out past recognition....
and woohoo !! I get permission to add an avatar !!! If only I could have images in my sig.... (which brings up another question, how come that option is disabled ?)

hmm... just as I read this post it looked normal to me, but then when I go back to the main page, and even now again.. it stretches upward... hard to explain I guess... but if it looks normal to you then its got to be my pc/net browser playing tricks on me...
just to prove to myself I am not going crazy, I took a screenshot.. lol

Happens to me sometimes too - as soon as I click a different thread it restores to normal.

Yeah same here. I assume the problem is from it being saved as interlaced (could be wrong though...just a guess).
Nothing we can do till Zor is back someday =D

lol, no being interlaced has nothing to do with it...that is only on GIF images, the logo is a jpg. I decided to view source on the site, and this is why ....
img src="images/misc/logo.jpg" width="100%" height="100%"
instead of 100% the size of the image should be coded in...
img src="images/misc/logo.jpg" width="840" height="137"

Interlaced is how it displays as its downloaded on the internet. You know how graphics show up partly as they download and some dont? Interlaced will show up as they download and non-interlaced wont.
*edit* Sorry just realized it is now a jpg. It used to be a gif. Same difference though except instead of interlaced I would be talking about progressive.

ok i just checked something..
and it only happens in IE..
i use firefox mostly and never have any problems with it, but just tried it in IE and it was all vertically streched..
Thats cause IE is for Dumbies! Heheheh...I hate IE! Anyway, its cause IE isn't 100% HTML 4.0 Compatible.
Cheers!

lol, that makes me a dummy, cause i HATE firefox... to each his own though... but the suggestion on the switching height/width from 100% to an exact pixel size is still a valid suggestion...
