Mp3 Player

Can anyone make a mp3 player using windows media player.
I would like the plugin to have the commands,

say /music
say /search
say /stop

And I want this plugin to be easy to use please.

Well i need an easy to use mp3 player where only i can hear the music and everyone else can pick what they want to listen to. And I want it not to precache all the music because that will take forever i just want the music on there without having to download it.

You sort of double posted but these are my 2 cents:

Client:
You can use shortkey's on different media players

You can provide a .cfg file and a bunch of songs you provide through your website. See it as a top40 you compose every month, for example. With the .cfg file you allow people to use the in-game media player (mp3). I believe HLMP (half-life media player) may be a good addition to this idea.

Server:
Like D-O said there is no other way then precaching and letting clients download it. Just want to remind you on a few things if you do decide to go ahead with this:

- Provide songs on both website (out of game download) as through your gameserver(in-game).
- Make sure you have set up fast download.
- Cut up song files if they are too long to save download times.

I changed the victory songs on my server. Have set up fastdownload. For a 500kb file it takes a client 6 seconds and when the server compressed the file its near to 2-3 seconds.

I've been thinking about something like this before. Eventually since not everyone likes the same music you might be better off with a Ventrilo stream.
