ya another wierd problem... server name getting cut off...

i noticed on my linux ded. server that the hostname is cut off (like somewhere around half way thru the name) in both the MOTD window and on the Scoreboard... anyone else have this happen? idk if its always been like that and i just never noticed it or what..

if i run a local win32 server with a hostname thats much longer, the whole hostname shows up.. so im a bit confused why its not on my ded. server..

any ideas?

Are you checking this on the same computer? As in same resolution, same fonts?

yeah.. and i joined a bunch of other random servers and they all seem to be fine...

hmm maybe its not on my end or my server.. i decided to check with OS the servers were running that i checked it on.. and they were all win32 (like my local)... so i found some linux servers and tried them, and they also appear to cut the name off on the scoreboard.. so maybe its a linux thing?

Ive got a win dedi and it cuts off mine as well (then again i do have a long ass server title atm)

wierd.. then idk what the deal is but obviously i guess its normal
