Hi all , i don't usually ask things here but a problem keeps occurring ,I cant get some clients to be able to load certain things a map needs like custom flags, wav files etc. , I have the RES file in the server and even tried adding the res file to the list too load in to their system but i have not seen that this is happening ,is there a way to do this?
update : it is loading into the map folder , it just wont help the problem

I normally test a new map etc by logging onto my server with a fresh install of dod
I then check my console for any missing files. Your res file should normally sit in the maps folder and have the same name as the map.
i.e dod_newmap.bsp has a res file dod_newmap.res
also do you have a fast download site (webspace) setup so that they download from there and not trickle download from your server.
If you do have this then make sure that the files are on that fast download space.
Can't think of anything else at the mo :)

I have the fast download and its all automatic as client demand signals copy to it, The only thing i can figure is this particular map has been edited and that has caused a fault somehow
Where did you get the .res file?

Good point Vet :)
suggest that you create a new one and compare with your old res file.
Also what map is it ? we can perhaps have a look at that.
