Fatal Error : file read failure

I just installed mindmaze 2 on my server so i tried changing the map throiugh hlsw and i get this message fatal error (shutting down) file read failure ?? does anybody have any ideas what sould be causing it , i tried switching out res files but i still get the same message , could it be textures or am i missing a wad file ??

usually if youre missing a wad file it would say the name of the wad file that is missing.. if its not giving any specifics, the bsp file might just be corrupt

does the same map run as a standalone on your PC ?

i havent tried it but i got it from another clans web site in which they have it on there server but ill try getting it from eatmyshorts

thanks noddy i go tmindmaze2 from eatmyshorts and when i looked at it i saw that where i got the map from it was incomplete , they didnt include the wad files or sprites that go with the map so once again thanks guys

I normally run a server on my PC to test for things like this. I install on my PC first then on my clan server when I'm happt that everything works.
You can also create your own res file and see what is missing before you upload the new map.
