Creating Models

Was wondering if anyone could help me out. I am starting to edit and creat maps and Models . If anyone knows where i can learn and get a program for creating models or map edit help pelase post thanks

the most popular and basic program for making models is probably MilkShape tho i believe its only a 30day trial...

but if you have the means.. *cough cough* ...to locate 3d Studio Max.. and get a copy of it... thats much better to use.. But it can be alot more confusing and difficult at 1st.. took me a while to learn how to use it.. and since i havent done much in it for quite a while I cant even remember how to do alot with it
