autoadmin plugin for us tired old admins

Hi. I have never posted here but i use several of your plugins firestorm, thanks for doing what you do for the dod community.

anyway i'll get right to the point and i have posted this on the amxmod site as well but had no responses

it would be great to have a plugin that would deal with an asshat automatically without the need of an admin.

what this plugin needs is the following,
#1: this plugin should work for all mods or at least DOD & CS.

#2:it should read what the offending player says in either say or team say.

#3:then check a txt file to match the text and if that text is offensive.

#4:then document that players steamID,warn the player (saying that the word is offensive",slap the player with 80% hp & gag him for 5 minutes.

#5:then on the 2nd violation, do the above exept slay the player and gag for 20 minutes.

#6:Upon the 3rd violation temp ban the player for 24 hours and in there console it should say "you have been temp banned for 24 hours & upon your next violation, you will be perma banned.

Then the plugin should keep track of that players steamID and if they violate the server rules again after coming back, it would perma ban that player.

It would have to have admin immunity.

Another thing that would be good is when the player gets temp banned, they would see in there console the URL of the web site to post a request for unbanning and also the URL for that clans server rules thread.

Im sure there are swear plugins that do similar things on amxx...I swear I have seen them in searching there.

I know of one server who uses a great Swear filter similar to the one your talking about.

It has 3 strikes

It shows a HUD message about the swearing and it says you have sworn 1/3 times

Then by the 3rd time it Bans the player for a set amount of time
(you could change it to 24 hrs)

It wouldnt do the 80% hp or Gag for a period of time but it will still get the job done.

The server is Sin City DoD FF On , Great group of guys you should check out there swear plugin and if you can get ahold of one of them you should ask for it..

Theres was custom made by there leader Scorpion I believe

Seems like your first part may already exist out there and you may have not searched enough in the amxx (http://www.amxmodx.org) (note that extra x) website, try again (http://forums.alliedmods.net/search.php).
Let us know what you find out if you do happen to find out what plugin Sin City uses.

You should really go to the amxx website and look at the amxbans plugin. It pretty much the defacto plugin that most servers use and it does exactly what you ask for. Its not setup to do that "out of the box" but after if you follow the instructions from the site, you will notice that banned players get a motd window that can be customized to your liking.

Thanks for the responses from you all. I'll try to check out that other swear plugin fro the sin city clan.

And pendragon, i looked at all 52 pages of the amxx site and there were only two plugins that did a few things that the one im requesting here does.
also amxbans is a very laggy plugin that i would not use.

the rs_swearfilter which was written for cs not dod and has way too many features that a dod admin doesn't need even if one could get it work for dod.

And Ultimate Punishment - v4.8, by v3x, which requires an admin to do things to the offender and also requires fakmeta to block certain abilities from the player. Plus this plugin does not ban offenders, it just uses the exec_client feature to screw with them while there on your server.
I'm not nor have i ever been into public humilation of asshats, I simply want them gone and not to disrupt my server.

that's like getting getting robbed by someone and the cops arresting you for it. LOL.

Anyway this plugin would simply warn them twice with a punishment and upon the 3rd violation, temp ban them for 24 hours.
It should have the abilitie to perma ban them if so desired.

amxbans isnt laggy at all...Been using it for a long time now. And with the sqlx version its even better.
