View Full Version : Message Module (v0.1)
Ok this is a stub module that I am working on that will show members how to make modules for DoD using Amxmodx. I will also have a tutorial on the WIKI as I am programming it. This will help me get others involved in the Module world, which isn't all that complicated! Hehehe...yeah sure says everyone! Once I have this developed and good 2 go I will release it as a learning tool! For now here is the link to the Wiki where I have started the documentation. People who want to start developing modules let me know by replying here, I will also try to be more avaliable on the irc network! PS I am getting a web base IRC for the front page on the go.

Ok everyone I got about 1/4 way through the tutorial, but too tired at the moment...will work at it tomorow. At the moment if you follow it you will be able to compile any of the Modules from Amxmodx.
Cheers!

hey man you know any way i could compile linux builds?
ive been messing around with the amxx/modules sources but i can only compile win32.. and my server is linux :-(
a while back bailopan said he'd hook me up with a shell acct so i could compile linux.. but nothing more ever came about with it
Well if you want to compile linux builds you will need a linux box similar to the one that your server is running on. Or at least with the same compiler and architecture. You could also use a virtual linux on your win32 box. Such as the popular http://www.cygwin.com/ or even http://www.colinux.org/ Then do your compiles there and voila!

Diamond when I was re-compiling an updated BlitzBot (Which I have put on hold) the other day, I used these links to help, maybe they will help you set up for your modules, idunno.

I find it easier to compile under windows for Linux due to new libaries not being compatable. I have another link for you I'll send when I get home.
