Information:

- Allows you to set custom damage values for the Garand & K43

- Default CVAR values leave everything as normal except arm shots will be 100dmg (111%)
CVARs:

dod_stronger_rifles "1" //turn ON(1)/OFF(0)
dod_stronger_rifles_m1 "1" //enable for M1 Garand
dod_stronger_rifles_k43 "1" //enable for K43

dod_stronger_rifles_head "100" //Damage % for head shots
dod_stronger_rifles_chest "100" //Damage % for chest shots
dod_stronger_rifles_stomach "100" //Damage % for stomach shots
dod_stronger_rifles_arms "111" //Damage % for arm shots

Extra:

DoD Default Damage Values (100%):

Head: 300
Chest: 120
Stomach: 120

Nice work again D-O, I will have to let box try this one first. I am rebuilding my server or I would snap it up, but I will be back to get it soon!

hehe thanks tegu. I am going to try this now, as it seems like more of a realistic option to the UberGarand I am running now.

Any chance to make it so the K98 doesn't kill you when shot in the leg? I suppose someone could live thru a leg shot enough with that gun. If your interested maybe incorporate that option into this plugin.

well this right now just changes the hitboxes... but with the kar you'd actually have to lower the damage done by the bullet.. and im not sure how'd you'd do that :(

No big deal, everyone is used to the bolt action 1 hit killer anyways. If it changed everyone would probably start crying hehe.

MUAHAHAHA ! I installed this on my server and I`m loving the K43 now , no more BS 90dmg hits and getting killed in return.

Went 97-9 with the new more powerfull K43 ! THANKS !

I honestly think that this plugin makes the guns fair , seeing as how the K98 and the K43 both fired 8mm ammo , why would 1 be a 1 shot 1 kill and the other only do 90dmg ?

**** Can this plugin be altered to include the FG42 when scoped ? ****

the FG42 fired 8mm as well ,but you cannot 1 shot 1 kill people with it scoped unless you hit them in the head.

I still would like to see it work for the FG42 as well. same cartridge as the K98 and the K43 , should do the same damage.

yes, every .amxx file goes into the plugins folder on the server as well as being "listed" in the plugins.ini file in the config folder....

Major change with this plugin. The HamSandwich module allows me to easily use a much better method. The old version basically just changed one hitzone to another, which has a bit of a negative effect on psychostats, even tho my method was an improvement over the original one from DoD Uber Rifles. This new method allows the plugin to actually change the value of the damage done.

So basically now you can set a percentage for each seperate hitzone, now you can have increased damage without hitzone manipulation.. Make sure to take a look at the new CVARs!

Should be 120. Problem is that if you hit the arm it only does 90 damage with the garand, and the right arm is held in front of the body in most models. So I would say set both to 140 and you will have 2x1 shot kill weapons.

I just woke up and could be wrong here but the new damages are a % of the old amount of damge inflicted, not damage inflicted. That way an arm shot is now 100 damage(111%x90=100damage), and a leg shot is still 90 damage(100%x90), using the default settings. This plugin can set the k43 damage and the garand.
IDK what the default damage amounts are for the k98, if you do, just use the %'s and set accordingly.

yeah its a percentage.. with 100% being the standard damage

i did it this way to compensate for shots thru walls/players/etc.. because just setting it to a specific value means a shot thru a wall does exactly that much damage, using percentages allows the bullet to still lose damage when passing thru something while adding (or even subtracting) the percentage difference from the original damage done

if that makes any sense

I'm using the DoD Improved Registry by Dr.G will this work fine with the plugin I have?
I mean will it mess up the hit reg of the weapons I have set in the improved registry plugin?

it should be fine.. but only way to know would be to try it.. but i cant think of any way it would mess anything up
