lmao wtf
anyway you can use amxx studio which you can download off of amxmodx.org (http://www.amxmodx.org)
..really any text editor would work fine too.. just you wouldnt get highlighting and autocomplete etc... when i 1st started i used wordpad till i found out bout amxx studio
heh if your daring you can try the pawn studio dev beta off the amxx svn, tho its very incomplete and buggy :-\

AmX studio for the win!
Easy to use, and pretty colors.

I am assuming you are using a computer on the display. You may just need to change the display settings on your video card to display a wide screen setting such as 1366 x 768 and thing should look more porportional. If you are taking about it when you are using the TV you may want to try the different display modes in both your TV and the ones built in to the cable/satellite box. Although they are not perfect you should be able to find one that works fairly well

I'am using the editor codegenie - just simple but has a better readablity of code-lines.
Not trying to be a dick but you do know you are replying to someone who posted his post almost 9 months ago?
But can you link to codegenie, is it better then amx studio?

I think this site is an collection of information, so it is not really important if the lastpost to that Iam replyd was some time ago :)
amx studio confused me a bit . so I continued with that editor that I'am using to edit all my codes like php perl html before for editing of amxmodx and sourcemod sources too.

anyone use PawnStudio?
last time i tried it, it was buggy as hell and crashed on me constantly (not that amx studio doesnt crash from time to time) and, at least the last build i tried, just seemed to be unfinished and lots of features didnt work and it was basically a lot worse then amx studio
i havent used anything else then AMX Mod X Studio 1.4.3 or what the lastest version is called, works perfect. ive looked at PawnStudio tho, but cant see any benefits in it.. AMX Mod X Studio hooked with the compiler is the fastest imo.

I use Notepad++ and I love it. I use it for everything.
Also, I have syntax highlighting for coding plugins and a method to compile plugins with a simple shortcut key combination.
If interested check my post here (http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=86974). Scroll down a bit for setting up the compiler.

the thing i like probably most about amxx studio is its easy as hell to open include files.. like just type in a native and when the little popup thingy shows up that shows the arguments for the native & the include file its from, click on the include file name and it opens it lol.. saves me from having to manually goto the include folder and open them lol, not exactly anything fancy but it saves me a lot of time if i need to look thru an include file
tho i do wish i could have it not open up with the code-tools crap visible.. totally minor but i always close that crap down as soon as i open the app lol
tho last time i talked to basic-master i think he said he made view customizations save on exit in pawn studio.. but ehh.. im too lazy to care lol
