Deagles Map Manager Help.

Hey guys,

I am using Deagles Map Manager on my server and I was wondering why it does not wait until the end of the round to change the map after the time has run out. It says that it is going to, but it doesn't actually do it and it will change the map before the round ends. This is quite annoying. Any help would be appreciated.

I tried 4 different map managers over the last 2 days,

this all started when the box my server was in ( gameservers nj area ) had a hard drive failue , and all my stuff was lost. >:()

and I had to reload everything , maps , plugins you name it , needless to say , I have had the server for over 6 years , and don/t remember half of what I installed or how I installed it.

but I digress , I reinstalled deags mapmanager , and it didnt work , I installed a newer one , and I got some weird errors...ML_ somthing not found and so on.
then I installed a new chooser , it didnt work , I installed another chooser and it didnt work , and finally , I uninstalled them all , and went back to the mapchooser that came with the server...and it doesnt friggin work either !!!!

okay , now I`m getting angry again. (breath breath)

Okay , is there anyone who uses , deags map manager on a dod 1.3 server with a linux box and knows how to install it , and can tell me specifically how to install it , I honestly thought I follwed all the instructions to the letter , yet , it didnt work.

well just follow the install description AND remember to put all files in the server, and ofcource in the right folders...

I honestly thought I did.

but I get that ML_notfound and DM_MAP_notfound or something in the hud messages.

and you cannot rtv or vote for maps that dont have names...its really crazy.

but I get that ML_notfound.....

means the language file/entries arent being found

I put the .txt thing in the lang. folder in amxmodx.

if that didnt fix it , what does ?

well you need the "right" one and the folder is: dod\addons\amxmodx\data\lang

okay so , I fixed that part of it.

and when I put the txt thing in the right file...

changed the map.

my server went nutzo...as soon as the map would change , you would have 3 minutes left ( not 35 ) and a vote would come right up and the map would change...by the time you got to the next map and selected your team , the map would change...

I disabled it again...and it went back to 35 minute map times.

i'm going to assume there is a cvar or something for this ?

lol mp_timelimit 35 did you remember to disable the old map vote plugin...

I have my mp timelimit set at 35 in my server.cfg.

as soon as I enabled the mapmanager , i was lucky if the timelimit was 3 minutes , and I didnt change the server.cfg at all.

i will try again when no one is in the server and see what happens.

I thought I disabled the original mapchooser , but I could be wrong.

though I cant see how that would make the map change ever 3 minutes with a vote at the start of the round.

I still cannot get any mapchooser to work , no matter which one I download , they do the same thing , rtv is enabled before anyone gets in the server and less than 3 minutes are left and then bang the map switches every 3 minutes like clockwork.
