NEED SOME ONE TO MAKE A B.C.T MAP FOR 31st ID

ok for all you map making lovers out there i need some one to be very nice to me. because the 31st ID needs a new bct map. we are sick of dod_lighthouse, it just does not include everything we need to do our bct. so basicly im asking any1 who has alot of Day of deafet map makin experiance if they could help me in this problem. B.C.T is short for basic combat trainning, we use maps that alow us to test people acuracy, patiants, and leadership. But the only thing is we need one made just for the 31st Infantry division. and the Reason i posted this on this site was because i know a good few map makers that use this website very often. and yes, i will be posting my request on other websites.

well there really arent many mappers left in dod 1.3, and the ones that are.. i wouldnt exactly call 'experienced' as ive seens some 'newer' dod 1.3 maps that are just terribly awful.. i wouldnt call myself experienced at all anymore as i havent really done any mapping in probably 2 years at least lol, but i did do it for probably 3 years or so (and it mostly wasnt for dod anyway)


and i would guess that it would be very unlikely that an actual 'experienced' mapper would spend the time to make a map for a single clan/team/unit/whatnot.. but who knows.. maybe someone will..

I still make maps when the mood serves me, but I will not make a map for anyone else... there is just way too much time involved to making a good map and can not simply just make one for someone else... sorry

I have just asked these guys/girls to port cs_assault to dod ill let you know how i get on for any of you who want the map if they do it for me

i did this shit like 2 yrs ago.

if u REALLY dont fucking get it after u read up on the site go to ivxxclan.net (my site.forums) and request it to be converted there. And ill do it one of these days for you or one of my other guys will do it. Just dont get carried away and ask for more than 2 maps. if u want ill even teach you.

not everyone is a developer, programmer, map maker... some people simply like to play.... and then when they see something someone else has done they want it too... don't be so harsh to people... their is a reason why there are only so many devs here... cause we proved without a doubt that we are capable of doing things the average player can not...

offering to help and teach is the good thing to do.. but don't be so harsh on those who do not nor ever have done anything major as far as game editing... I understand that AFTER you learn to do things you realize how easy it really is (for some of us) but for those who never made the attempt.. it seems daunting.. and hard to realize that in time it will be easy...

some simply just don't want to learn and for good reason... either time constraints, or they are comfortable in the fact that they simply would not be cut out for such things... thats the reason us devs are here, becuase we DO want to help and provide for others... so let them ask for what they want.. that IS the purpose of this site

Hey. This post is probably going to be old as hell, but I'm just now reading this. Hmm, there does seem to be a lack of DOD 1.3 mappers, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. : ). I still do mapping, converting and modding for Day of Defeat 1.3 on the regular so feel free to visit my site:
