well because i loved the old dodplugins CVS.. after some time of screwing around i finally gave up and just setup a svn on a free host thingy.. its not that bad so whatever.. unless we get a 'real' one or something on this site.. im fine with this :) hehennplus im a sucker for extra backups :P lol.. it really helps me out if im doing alot of changes here and there.. committing each one or so makes it easy if something goes wrong lol.. then I can pick from any revision i want to go back to..nnso anyway the address(s):nnhttp://dodplugins.bountysource.com/nnthe actual svn:nhttp://dodplugins.bountysource.com/svn/nn..tho with that address it always sends you to the current revision tree.. and if you commit something.. hit refresh. it doesnt update the revision its viewing.. so this i believe always sticks you at the newest revision tree.. so i think refresh works with this.. but again.. no big deal either way.. the shorter address is probably worth hitting a extra/diff button to change the revision tree your viewing:nhttp://dodplugins.bountysource.com/svn/!tree/0nnand then theres the simple view which always shows the latest revision tree:nhttp://svn.bountysource.com/dodplugins/nnnnok so if you want to put your own stuff on it and whatnot.. register an account on that website and then go to community thing and click the 'join community' button... nnonce you do that i'll set your access so you can be a 'developer'nnnif you dont know how/what to commit stuff... i'd reccomend using the tortoise svn clientnnafter installing it.. its probably gonna say to restart.. i dont think you really have to (tho some ppl might..) i think to get 'most' of it working and showing up right.. i just went in task manager and closed my explorer.exe task... then went to file>new task and restarted explorer..nnbut anyway, after that.. make a folder somewhere (where you want to have your local copy of the repository.. mine for example is amxmodx/scripting/dodplugins_svn/ but you know.. whatever name and where you want... lol)nnthen right click on (or in) that folder and on the context menu there should be 'SVN Checkout'nnclick that and in the 'url' box put:nhttp://svn.bountysource.com/dodplugins/nnunless you want to have it checkout (download) everything thats already on the svn (which would be my folder and all my plugins) your going to want to check 'only check out the top folder' then click ok....nnafter its done with that.. inside that folder.. create a folder of your name.. then right click on it and goto 'TortoiseSVN' and then click '+Add'nnafter it does what it needs to do.. right click again and goto 'SVN Commit' to actually 'commit' (post/upload/whatever) it to the repository.. you should then be able to refresh the repository (making sure the revision tree is the latest) and your folder should show up in the root.. then basically its the same thing to do new folders/files inside the folder of your name...nnoh ya.. also when it asks for username/password.. your username is the email you registered on that site with and the password you registered with...nnnif your having trouble.. have questions.. or just want to tell me im gay.. feel free :)nnn*ps* remember anything you put on it is publically available.. so if youve got private plugins you dont want anyone having the source to.. dont put it up on there
