It seems this community (and I already had one as well on my forums) is being troubled with spambots aka retarded people. To be honest I'm not sure if it's a spambot as it's the most crappiest spelling I've ever seen (and coming from a Dutchy that means a lot :D).rnrnAny idea if askimet can block these retards as well? Although I like seeing posts about breast enlargements and bottles filled with viagra which will give you a ...... for a lifetime, I rather not see it on here.rnrnIm referring to these threads:rnrnSpammer 1rnSpammer 2

Those two may have been bots, may have been humans, don't know. However I installed another two trip up features added to the Askinet, so lets see how long they last :)

Thanks a lot for always trying and eventually finding ways to improve this community. Let's hope I wont have another psychological issue when I see another penis enlargement ad :D

Oh I hate these spam bots... for the past few weeks it has been a personal struggle keeping them off of my own forum ... everytime I think I finally found a way to be rid of them ... something "new" comes along... n nThe last spammer who actually managed to post on my forum posted this ...n nhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wALJl6fZ5tYn nwhich completely set me off in a terrible rage ... I couldn't believe the balls these people have ... especially when one of his first comments in the video was "I hate spammers..." and yet he is promoting a "tool" to do just that...n nMy latest "trick" is I added a "question" to the registration form that requires a simple answer that any human can answer ... but one a "program" would have trouble answering ...n n"What is our clan numbers? =|[##AD]|=" n nI am just waiting to see how many get past this now ...

Yes that option is avaliable on this forum as well and will be implemented when these spam features fail. Lets hope that isnt for a while.rnrnCheers!

Dis allow user signup names that us email characters, like @,.com,.org,.net etc.rnrnothers will use numbers after there name like bob123, 768 ect.rnrnI use e107 so it auto bans them after to many bad login attempts, you have to check them once in a while for the occasional user who simply forgot his password or user name to unban them.
