Im working on a breakdown of the config file so people know what each commands does and if they have issues with their Day of Defeat they know which command to change.rnrnThe progress can be found here: link.rnMy forums look really shitty on Internet Explorer, so my advice, use firefox if you want to check it outrnrnNow I still need to find a lot of information and I am far from done. I just had a question I've had stuck in my head for a while.rnrnIs sv_maxspeed (server setting) linked to cl_forwardspeed (client setting)? I noticed that almost every server has their sv_maxspeed set on 500 (even the CAL config has that setting) yet almost every client config I've seen has their cl_forwardspeed set on 400.rnrnI've recommended my CAL team players to set it at 999999 so it's always maxed out by the server. To be honest I don't really see the difference but any split second advantage to a choke point is worth it.rnrnSo is sv_maxspeed linked to cl_forwardspeed?rnrnPs: When I'm done I'll provide the information shown on my website in HTML code so you can use it for your own communityrnrnPs2: If you would like to help me out and see something that is not true or you would like to add commands (commands like voice_overdrive etc. have not been included yet) feel free to post here or to PM me on these forums.

rnrnSo is sv_maxspeed linked to cl_forwardspeed?rnrnSimple test, go in your server, set the sv_maxspeed to 900, make your config.cfg not read only, exec server.cfg, change the map, see if cl_forwardspeed changes in your config.cfg , and you move faster.
