I'm sorry that I'm posting this question on these forums but I'm kinda stranded on this whole stuff.rnrnI have a rule in my clan that we only ban people permanent if we have the proper proof for it. I can't stand admin abuse (been victim of admin abuse way too much when I just started) and can't stand seeing people getting banned for hacks just because they own my admins.rnrnAt this point they all sent it to my email but my free email space is getting kinda full. So I wanted to implement something on my website, I found this:rnlinkrnrnIt's a small script which basicly does what I want but I can't get it to work.rnrnI placed it in http://social.clanservers.com/uploads/index.php, placed all the files in there. I created a folder called upload_directory and made sure that they all have read/write access but still I get this message:rnrn
Internal Server ErrorrnrnThe server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.rnrnPlease contact the server administrator, webmaster@social.clanservers.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.rnrnMore information about this error may be available in the server error log.rnrnAdditionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.rnApache/2.0.63 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.0.63 OpenSSL/0.9.7a mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 Server at social.clanservers.com Port 80rnrnrnDoes anyone know what I'm doing wrong or perhaps know something else that would work even better?rnrnPs: I just recently started learning some PHP for a project for DoD but even though I think the script should work, it doesn't. However this message I've seen with all download/upload scripts I tried.

Edit the index.php look for the following code:rnrn
$upload_dir = "/upload_directory";rnrnAnd change it to the following:rnrn$upload_dir = getcwd() . "/upload_directory";rnrnNext ensure that the upload_directory is in the same directory as your index.phprnrnHope that helps!rnrnCheers!Threads: 59

you probably have the directory chmod 777.... alot of web hosts wont allow that.. mine doesnt, but 755 always works fine for me
