I was looking at combining some different plugins. I wanted to give the tommy and the gery smg guy a set o binos. Then have them be able to call in indirect fire on a target. Match that with the mortar class plugin and have the ability to fire indirect missions at the call of the spotter. Someday I will get to this among other things, unless someone else has the time. Basically what happens is the guy with the binos calls in a spot. This is relayed to all the mortarmen. They then have the option of opening up the map and clicking the position that spotter directed on. Once this click is done the map goes away and a round is fired, so long as they are setup. You would have to ensure to check the mortarman isn't firing from within the spawn, and ensure they cant direct fire until reload is done. This will foster further team play as you should really have a team of 3, spotter, mortarman, and coverman for the mortar. A team of 4 would be best, as the spotter should have a coverman as well.rnrnAnyway, there is a way to use the binos. Great for big maps like caen.rnrnCheers!

Yes that was the plan. That way all can see it and avoid the incoming fire from the mortars. Or more than likely just run into it, cause thats what people do...rnrn:)rnrnCheers!

is there any known way to 'click' on the map somewhere and catch the origins of where youre clicking?nnmy air support plugin i have adds a firemarker to the minimap where the artillery is going to hit, but thats based on where youre aiming when you call for the artillery

hello, rnyou can use the overview-files(graphic and coord-file) to view an html/php-website in ingame-browser(motd) ..saving the coords and give gameserver-plugin the response by webrequest. not easy way but possible.rnrnmaybe good reason to take a look at the old phpua-project again!

Perhaps an addition in a "fun" point of view.rnrnPerhaps create a spy-class where an allied player for example spawns at axis spawn, wearing an axis model and with a bino where he can point grouped soldiers where enemy mortars can set up and fire.rnrnIdk, when having my green time it sounded like an idea.

Hey guys, just want to see if this is still a possibility? Last post said to check back in 2-3 months, and it's been about 8 months now.
