Anyone here running this latest version and experiencing slow downs/lockups? It started doing this after the update. Checking Google, I did find some similar complaints but curious as to how big of a problem this is or if anyone knows a quick fix. Right now I'm testing with Adblock Plus off as this was a culprit on a new version before.

haha We'll hopefully you don't run into problems. After testing, I have found that the Addblock Plus wasn't causing the issues but I did disable the following after trying it:nMicrosoft .NET Framework Assistant 1.0nVeoh Browser Plugin 1.3nVeoh Web Player Video Finder 1.4nWeb Developer 1.1.6nnSo far it hasn't done it again since. I bet my money on the Micro$oft add-on. XD I would test them one by one to narrow it down but I'm in the middle of work.

I have Ubuntu on one of my other boxes and I would use it more but so many of the programs I use are Windows based. XD

Yeah know the feeling, however WINE is quite good at running alot of Winblows programs, except games. But oh well, thats why I have a dual boot. I wana play a game I boot ta windows, I wana do my normal work, I use Ubunto, I wana do serving shit, I use my Gentoo box. All good, however, back on thread, I havent updated Firefox on this box, still on 3.0.5. Suppose I should update and see what happens.rnrnCheers!

alright now after using it for a couple days, and i dont know if its related to it or not (or maybe its cause i havent rebooted my pc since last weekend), but youtube videos seem to load incredibly slow now (as in i have to pause it right away and wait for it to load the video otherwise the playback catches up to it and it keeps stuttering)nnand i also have noticed that sometimes images on webpages load super slow and sometimes theres a few that dont load at all unless i refresh the page a few times

lol I had similar problems. Disabling some add-ons fixed mine and hasn't locked up or acted strange since.
