Hey guys,nnI wanted to give my community something else then just 24/7 avalanche so I created a league. On moment of posting this it is one day old so we are still in the process of getting it up and running.nnThe league was intentionally designed for my own community therefor the choice of the name but I've already received a few questions from other clans if they were allowed to join, thats why I am posting it here.nnAnyone can join, whether inside or outside the B.A.M community just remember it's linked to B.A.M, so if that disturbs you I advice not to join.nnI created two divisions, for US timeszones and timezones beyond that. The skill level on the people who joined right now varies from skillfull to quite the noobs so there is something for all skill-levels. If the gap between skills is too high I'll fix that by splitting it up.nnMatches are 2 x 15 mins, 5vs5/6vs6/7vs7 on small/medium sized maps. Admins are experienced ex-cal players so hopefully that will cover the fact that I have no idea how to get an anti-cheat client.nnIf you have advice for me how to increase the reach of people or to improve it, I'm all ears. As I stated before, we are just opening shop so to say so first we have to see what range of players we get from timezones outside the US.rnrnIn all honesty with the current state of Day of Defeat Im not 100% sure we can get a lively league but I believe it's worth the effort. Smaller maps which don't often pass map rotations on pub servers will be on the maplist.rnrnAs for US timezone, at the moment we scheduled our "pre-season" matches a bit just to see if the website is tested enough so we dont endure issues when season is on the way, my community from the East Coast is thinking sunday but that depends how fast TPG 3v3 goes underway. Im hoping to come to a democratic date and time set with the people who play and not just force it.rnrnTomorrow I lay the last hand on the setup and start advertising. And then it's waiting to see if people like it or not. Servers are already setup, so people can play without having their own server.

OK, I guess this is what it basicly worked out to be....We made some changes and hope you guys like it.nnThe B.A.M LeaguennThe B.A.M clan created a league for players from all over the world no matter what age or skill level they are at. We are not trying to revive a league like CAL but rather offer regulars and members of the B.A.M community something different from pubbing. People who are new or just not very skilled can see this as a challange. People who are godly in DoD can see this as another dimension of pubbing.nnWe have two seperate divisions. One for players from the US region and one for players from other parts of the world. Ping differences and times matches are played at are taken in consideration on placing a team in a division, on request teams can always switch.nnMatches are 30 mins, 15 mins per half. Teams consist of a minimum of 5 players and a maximum of 7 players.
