well since my server will officially go offline in a couple days, which is pretty much symbolic of my dod career being over lol.. Ive decided to do a little 'house cleaning' (well its actually been more like going thru tons of stuff from years and years ago and rehashing over the memories lol) and im not quite sure what im gonna do with all my plugins and whatnotnnim sure theres probably a few people around here still that would like me to just them all in a rar/zip and upload them, but i can say that aint going to happen... its not my style to be that sloppy lolnnnbut i would like to think that i might be able to go thru at least some of them and release them as-is (as most were in some state of an update but most likely unfinished)nnI might even get around to posting a couple that were unreleased all together, but remember.. i havent really worked on any these plugins in probably over a year, so it might take some time for me to go thru stuff. as well as some might still need some work to be a little more user-friendly or to remove debug code and crap (of which i'll only have a local win32 server to test anything on)...nnnnnbut i also wanted to make a post and thank zor for this community, gave me a wonderful outlet for a very creative time of my life. and i dont want to deal with trying to list names of everyone else, im sure most of you from over the years arent around here anymore .. but i met some great people through dod and through this community, had some great times and alot of laughs. i learned a lot from you guys, theres a lot of things that would have never happened if it wasnt for you. thanks for every second of it

figures.. the host wont even let me leave lolnntheyre keeping my server up till the end of october for free and then said i can have the server for half the price after that if i wanted to keep it lol.. go figure, right when i thought i was finally out

right when i thought i was finally outnn..they pull me back in :DnnWell I think this news suits me. You were the first modder to come across with C-drive...being one of the last man standing sounds like a good deal to me.

Very few ppl left come here. When it finally dwindles away I will have to turn it off. I pay $10 / m for this website, of which I host 2 more off it anyway with different Domain Names, so not too bad. But just to think, we have been running since I believe like 2002? Well somewhere like that, I know the Wayback Machine says 2004 but I believe I started into DoD earlier than that and started programming stuff for dod before that...duno.rnrnAnyway, diamond-optic, good to be working with ya for so long. It was an honour, and for the others like Sturmfueur, who was the fellow admin with dodplugins, good luck to you.rnrnThe site will remain open so long as there are ppl who utilize it, however few that is at the moment. Once I get a month with no real traffic except the trolls I will consider shutting down. Till then! Cheers!

Well, if you host it with your other websites then you could just drop the domain name and host it on your other domains. Unless of course you are paying extra for the space it takes up. It's still a good resource even if people don't post they could be reading all the good information.

Plugin writing has been great fun for me. I'm glad I found this place as it's a nice little niche spot. Don't think I'm going anywhere soon though. XD DoD is in my blood and that's all there is to it plus I still have more fun things to share. IF I can get them done haha. In the event that dodplugins goes bye bye, I will shift all my stuff over to my personal website for download.

Probably won't go no where for a long time. I would love to create a DoD in the HL2 engine, not the rubish they created, wow DoD:S BLOWS GOATS CUM UP CHICKENS VAGINA! I hate it! But yeah make a DoD port to the HL2 engine would be great!rnrnCheers!~
