Hello all.rnrnI was wondering if there was anybody in here who knew how it's possible to get your own .wav sounds working on a server.rnrnBecause we are having big issues with just that, we have no problems with getting sounds already made up, but if we build our own .wav it wont work?rnrnThanks

You should first look at the codec and rate the sound waves are made of on the server. Then emulate them. If your using lets say mp4 codec and the wav's use mp3 then the server will not be able to read yours.rnrnSo I did a google search and came up with the following:rnrnHL Audio Format rnrnThe format for Half-Life 1 games is: rnwav file in 8000Hz, 16-bit sampling rate, mono-channel. rnrnNot sure of the audio codec to use, but probably anything with the above. Also on google I found the following that will help for what I THINK your doing. You do not specify so hope this helps:rnrnhttp://www.hldj.org/rnrnCheers!
