soo hi folks, probably surprised to see me lol..nnnanyway, anyone here running the new metamod & amxx?nnive had the new MM 1.20-p36 running for a few days as well as the 1.8.2 dod modules and havent noticed any issues...nnnhavent incorporated any other parts of amxx 1.8.2 into my test server yet but I will eventually if I end up getting a real server soon.nnngoing by the limited bit of reading I did, the new MM & AMXX are just to 'fix' some issue brought about by a recent cs1.6 update. At least thats how i took it, and maybe more geared towards linux setups due to changing of the binary names or something, idk I dont have a linux server anymore lol. And updating my old HLDS did give an update, but from like august 2012 and not this recent feb 2013 one.. So this 'SteamCMD' thing doesnt apply to dod at least (no surprise there lol.. tried to download dod thru it and it failed lol)nnbut I figured Id try the new mm & amxx just because its been so long since their last official releases. I wanted some of the random bug fixes that had been on their svn's but never actually released. nnnI didnt really think the dod modules would be any different, i mean is anyone even working on the amxx base anymore? not to mention the dod stuff? (i dont really remember anyone doing anything with the dod stuff for years lol)nnBUT, the dod binaries were different sizes then 1.8.1, so im giving them a try anyway.. the change log was pretty small and I dont really remember what was even on it (ill have to go back and look lol) but im pretty sure nothing at all was mentioned about dod.nnnnso anyway to restate the question lol.. anyone else using these?

I was one of the few ppl working on the DoD dll, and I didn't do much because I didn't know what alot of it did. Duno...would love to be able to just get the info on the pev for dod. We could do so much with that!rnrnCheers!

The steam update for dod is out. At first the game wouldn't run. Simple key bind combos in my userconfig would crash the game. Server side, a lot of plugins are not working yet. Smoke grenades, unlimited pistol ammo are a few. They are running with no errors.

Fixed. The dod offsets in handsandwich.inc were not updated in the amx 1.82 upgrade.

Everything appears to be working with amxmodx 1.82, metamod 1.21 AM. Biggest issue is make sure your server is updated via steam cmd.

when you downloaded dod thru steamcmd, did it also download cstrike for you?nnwondering if i screwed up one of the commands or something that made both dod and cstrike download

Nope. You have to have both now. My server provider also discovered that to update server, you have to run the update 3 times to finally get the dod updated!

May have found a bug. The only servers running metamod p and linux are having to use amxmodx 1.81. There are a few windows servers running amxmodx 1.82 and mm1.20p36. I am running linux day of defeat server on amxmodx 1.82. Which version of linux are you using and is it 32 or 64 bit?nnLooks a bit like a the old compatible C++ library error. Is this the output with the -debug flag on metamod and HLDS?
