nnnlol when I first got the new server setup I just put my backup of the old server setup on and the last version of the block exploits (of which I had renamed and changed a lot after the whole drama with it) doesnt seem to work anymore haha.. pretty sure its the cause of constant client timed out disconnects.. tho I think it might have been doing that back then anyway (I feel that I might have been trying to resolve it when I quit). It really probably needs to be redone and everything needs to be checked to see if anything actually got resolved over the past couple yearsnnit just became too large of a plugin and a bit of a mess haha...nnIt seems that I did try to clean it up a bit before getting rid of my old server and split it into two plugins.. Where one was just 'bug fixes' and another one was for 'exploits' and stuff instead of all being combined into one. One of these days I'll probably take a better look at it, once I relearn a lot of amxx stuff and feel comfortable messing with the code.nnMy backups of all my plugin source files are also just a big mess, a lot of things I cant even tell what file was the last version I was working on as theres a lot of duplicate files haha

one thing that kinda sucks is my server is now win32, where back then I had both win32 and linux so it made testing much more complete (especially when it came to the difference between windows and linux pdata offsets and such)nnkind of wish I didnt tear apart my old computer and sell off most of the hardware.. I could have used that as a linux test server lol

ughh lol wish i could remember stuff!!nnjust wasted the past few hours trying to get the metamod-am and amxmodx source files to compile in VC++ 2010... with pretty much no lucknnI swear it was simple as could be years ago. If i recall correctly all I did in the past was download the HLSDK, metamod source, amxx source, set up environment paths for metamod and hlsdk and then open the vc proj files and goto build.. now either the proj files give errors, load empty projects, or theres missing includes when building... idk why im having so much trouble now lolnnnn*edit*nnwell i sorta got it to compile... the mozilla-build stuff seems to be way more confusing and complex then how it used to be just compiling it in vc++nnim also confused just by the source code for amxx now.. back then it was just goto the svn and download the source, open the project in vc++ and build it... now on the amxx site the latest under the dev builds is 1.8.3-dev-git-3803 (with a date of april 30th 2014) yet all the instructions i can find for compiling amxx is based on the 'hg' version (which has a date of like feb 2014) ..and its the hg version that ive actually managed to compile, but cant for the life of me get the git one to compile..nnand maybe im pretty dumb but I dont get (or understand) what the difference is between 'git' and 'hg' and why there is 2 different sets of source codennnand the main thing im trying to do is mess around with a module, and I also cant get the default source code for that module to compile at all.. tho im sure im doing that completely wrong as wellnnnnughh why did things get so complicated over the past 2 years

well i ended up putting VC++ 6 back on my computer to try instead of 2010. Havent got around to bothering with anything other then finally finishing and compiling my modified version of BSPEdit, which compiled fine (and it wouldnt in 2010)..nnNot sure what version I used for compiling things in the past, I dont think it was 6 tho, maybe 2008.. which would have come out right around when I was doing a lot of that stuff
