Hey all, rnrnI have installed sea.banold.amxx which most of you know can bring up a list of the last 50 people playing on your server to easily ban them once they left. The only stupid problem I'm having now is that I haven't given all of my admins access to the amxmodmenu, which this plugin is affiliated with.rnrnMy question is that when I or any other admins attempt to ban someone manually in console.....it never works. It always says the the user ID doesn't exist.rnrnI usually just end up adding their STEAM ID to the ban log manually.rnrnAny ideas?

if you type amx_ban "steam ID" they must be in game for that to work. If you don't catch them while doing the act, but have their Steam ID, you need to add it to the banned.cfg. I don't know if there is another way.

I used to hate this problem. I would have to like, upload bans.cfg 3 times and restart the server to make sure it worked...so frustrating.rnrnWant you want to get is AMXBans - you can keep track of all your bans from a web site. It can be applied to multiple servers, and you can even add the ban from the web site (or remove them) -- Also has "ban reason" and also shows ban history for someone who was temporary banned and joins your server.rnrnAlso, that plugin that shows the last 50 people in the server...use DoD SteamID Message - it's so much easier. It shows the steamid in the "so and so has left the game" message. No way too lose it then :P

Yes there is a amx_addban in the console...rnrnAs for the seabanold.amxx... I used to use that but didn't get used much as I was on most of the time to see jackasses playing :P But that plugin should be able to ban them... From the menu that it has... Maybe I'm wrong now(Used it along time ago so maybe I am wrong :P)

rnrnExcellent post Wilson, I am actually going to look into that now, I have 4 servers for my clan that I also get tired of having to ban the same person on all of them for, this would be a big help.rnrnCya
