IS there anyway to prevent these random bots/spammers that come on our forums advertising random shit. I've had to delete/block about 10 in the last 2 days, and it's gettin really annoying.

i think zor is using something like Akismet & AKspam herennthere was a point where we used to get a lot of spam.. so im assuming whatever it is he did.. is working lol

If your using phpbb check out http://www.bbprotection.net/ The signups are currently closed, but check back often as they are opening more soon. The problem is that the new spammers arent bots, they are actual humans registering. bbprotection works by blocking known usernames/ip addresses of spammers. It has taken away the 50 or so spam signups a day to maybe 1 every other day. It works extremely well.

Guess I will count myself lucky.
