How do i find someones ip via my server we had a guy join our clan a few days ago and he turned out nasty he said many words witch i don't wish to repeat and then went on to hack both our servers and our website i have fixed the problems but i need his ip not his steam id to ban him from our webby b4 he does it again if any one knows if i can get this via my server configs it would be help fullrnrnblobby

status in console should give the ip if the person is on the servernnor check the log files for it if they already left

Thanks D-O i looked in the logs and found he was steam id pending but the servers still let him on but in place of his steam id was his ip witch was differnt for both server so my guess he had multi ip or something when i get his steam id ill post it here believe me i was so close to looking for this guy it was unreal apparently he has been going round doing this joining clans and then trying to break up the smaller clan community's with arguments and such and then if it dosent go his way he hacks the websites or the servers well ive banned him now for good he keeps trying to register on my webby but i just keep deleting his accountsnnthanks againnnBlobby

If you have a stats page it will show ALL the ips he has used... but ips can change depending on where a person uses a pc... some ISPs change a persons IP address daily... then there are web proxies... which act as a middle man blocking the persons real ip and showing a fake ip wherever they go...n nGood Luck !!

or they can use proxy servers or a lan center...or if they have a dynamic connection on a DSL , they get a new IP every time they log into the net.rnrnyour best bet is, if you find his IP , ban the range :) 1:1:*:* <---example

Then add your admins back.

Lol he keylogged me i think cos i found a program on my taskmager called u shuddnt see me in processes i stopped that changed all my stuff and its all been ok since
