I just discovered that SturmBot includes the following console variables:rnrnmp_balancealliedheavy = 20rnmp_balancealliedmedium = 25rnmp_balancealliedmg = 15rnmp_balancealliedrifle = 30rnmp_balancealliedsniper = 10rnrnmp_balanceaxisheavy = 20rnmp_balanceaxismedium = 25rnmp_balanceaxismg = 15rnmp_balanceaxisrifle = 30rnmp_balanceaxissniper = 10rnrnDoes anyone have ANY idea as to what their function is???rnrnI couldn't find a single thing on the Internet explaining or discussing them (short of them being listed as server variables for several Day of Defeat dedicated servers that are still online).rnrnP.S. It appears that they were first introduced in version 1.6 of SturmBot (I couldn't find any of those entires in the previous versions of the "Sturm_Bot.dll" file), although they are not mentioned in SturmBot's version history readme file.

I was wondering the same thingrnrnI'm running 2 servers with identical configs, the only difference with one is that it is running Sturmbot.rnrnI noticed with HLSW monitoring the server, when there is a map change, all the weapons are listed and set to "0" before then being listed and set to the correct values as set in the server.cfg file.rnrnThe result being for a short period of time you cannot select any weapons, as they are still configured to "0"rnrnDon't know if the two are linked, and if so can it be changed

That's a weird thing... and the mystery deepens.rnrnBTW, if your DoD SturmBot server is a Windows server (using the regular "Sturm_Bot.dll"), something that you might be interested in (if you haven't already stumbled upon it):rnrnhttp://jasonwilliams400com.startlogic.com/snor/weeds/Day_of_Defeat/SturmBot/SturmBot_v1.7_Stosstruppe_and_Scharfschutze_Bot_Class_Fix.txtrnrnhttp://jasonwilliams400com.startlogic.com/snor/weeds/Day_of_Defeat/SturmBot/SturmBot_v1.7_Stosstruppe_and_Scharfschutze_Bot_Class_Fix.ziprnrn:)

yes my servers are WindowsrnrnI know that when playing before now I had noticed that occasionally a bot won't attempt to shoot anything, even when looking at a target for ages, I didn't take note what weapon they were using, so didn't associate it with anything, just thought it was a random thingrnrnThanks for that info, i'll have to have a look at that later and sort it out

Have been told that players having "0" weapon selection occasionally at the start of a map, happens on both my servers, so can't be related to the Sturmbots

Thanks for that info, i'll have to have a look at that later and sort it outrnrnThere are quite a few servers (of the few that are actually running SturmBot) that are using my little fix. I've had a few emails too, folks saying "WOW! Those Stosstruppes really go nuts with there rifles now!" :)rnrnIt was a funny thing; I had been playing by myself with the SturmBots for so long at the time... as soon as I completed and installed my fix, I could hear K43 gunfire from ALL over the map(s) LOL!rnrnBTW, to prevent any confusing with the last official release of SturmBot v1.7, I have changed the version number in my fix to v1.8 (displayed when the module initially loads for single-player games, as well as reported by the "sturmbot_version" CVar).rnrnrn
