There already might be some sort of plugin or a way to get custom sounds to play while in gameplay.. For instance when axis or allies win i want a certain wav or mp3 to play. Not only for me but for my server a way i can make all my maps play these custom sounds i want. Also i want to apply a map wad file on my dedicated online server for everyone to use. Instead of just me... If there is a plugin for these options or a certain way to get them in there i would appreciate it...

The non-plugin way is to BSPedit the map and make the changes in the .bsp file. And you CAN change what wads it uses, but you have to make sure the wad you use, IF replacing an existing one, has all the same named textures, or you will end up with the purple/black checkerboard look on some walls...n nWhile a plugin may be possible, it would be daunting to code, because not all of the "win" sounds use the same target name, as the map making format is not standardized. And I am not completely sure if a plugin can "alter" what wad file a map uses.n nWhile I would welcome a completely working plugin to do this task, I would assume that it would be easier to just go in and "hack" the .bsp file with BSPedit to accomplish what you want. BTW, IF you DO use something like BSPedit to alter a map, make sure you make a new .res file with the removed content gone, and the new content listed, so your clients will "get" the new stuff...

n nIf you have an existing .res file you can simply open and edit it (wordpad, or any other text editor) and manually add/remove the lines....n nOtherwise there is a utility called RESgen that will "evaluate" a .bsp file and produce a .res file.n nI http://dogpile.com it and got this link....nhttp://www.thezproject.org/projects.php?pid=2n nPLEASE NOTE: Microsoft has a resgen.exe which is NOT the same thing.

Im really not sure what is wrong but maybe you all can help... I edited the bsp file and made a new .res file but after it downloads the files from my server it kicks me completely off of day of defeat. Doesnt restart it or anything... Any idea why this is happening would be great...
