I've played on some servers where you can spawn and find various guns on the floor. Like all sorted out on the floor in spawn. Was wondering if anyone had the .sma file for that. It'd be appreciated.

if anyone can answer this from experience or through knowledge: adding guns through the map file is better for the lag wise of the server rather than wit a plugin? Cuz all my dod yrs in running servers i used the edit i the map file.

Cuz all my dod yrs in running servers i used the edit i the map file.n nit doesnt matter how the "weapon" is added... plugin or map edit.. it is still an extra entity toward the total entity count...

as an extra note... using a plugin is a "temporary" solution to adding weapons to maps.. although "harder" to set up... editing the map is more of a "permanent" solution in which you have to edit the map and upload it back to server... and the only way to "remove" any extra weapons is to reedit the map and upload again... either solution will accomplish the same thing... I guess its just a matter of preference now as to how you want to "control" these things...

well i would say that doing it thru the map would be better.. nnnone it would be safer in a way.. as amxx could always screw shit up with loading and executing the plugin..nnand not having it done thru amxx would save you from loading that plugin(s) and save some memory possibly.. especially if you run a lot of plugins already like i do...nnni usually prefer to do things to the bsp files themselves if i can (and im not planning on releasing whatever it is...) just seems to be more 'stable'
