Hey all is there a plugin that will track what my admins are doing as far as commnads. Say it logs all amx commands on either a per map basis or a 24,12 or 8 hour cycle.. the 8 hour scycle would be great too keep the parsing time down as low as possible. it would be a seperate log file other then amx_logs or the server logs. If any of you know were i might find a plugin that would do this, can you post a link. And ill keep looking as well.

nnnot to sound like a dick.. but whats really the point of having the same stuff logged in two places?nnor do you mean like logs for each command?nnon my server i have a seperate log for bans.. easier to keep track of them.. but i guess im not totally following what your looking for..

it sounds like he's looking for a way to have a seperate log file so he can see what commands his admins are using. Which to me sounds like he knows there's something bad/against his rules for his admins going on and is trying to figure out who and when it's happening.

rnrnWell first off, i have been dealing with a strange problem on my fedora3 server having to do with the server logs. The date and times of the logs are all messed up for some reason. rnExample today at 5pmPST the 14th, i had logs saying that they were from 1am on the 15th. So that makes it very hard to parse logs for what my admins are doing. Im getting a couple dual opteron's in another month so i think the log thing will be fixed then.rnrnrn2nd: I have 31 clan members and i would like to know what type of commands there running in the server. I do my best at recruiting mature players but you never can be sure on the net. There will always be a pretender that gets in now and then. Thanks for the replies.

a log that would log only amxx commands used by admins and NOTHING ELSE. The regular logs get wayy to big with shit u dont even need at times and it takes a while to search through it.

n nwth is it full of ? My amx "logs" only show whenever an "access" is checked and command is used... the only "extra" that fills the log is when a player joins and is assigned their "user" flags... that can show up alot in the logs... it also logs manual map changes and I log by the day...n notherwise "find" is your friend in the text app your using to read the logs... just run a search on the comands you want to "watch" (amx_ban, amx_slap, etc)

rnrnThe thing is i have client exec and slowhack plugins and a ton of other plugins that my admins can use independently of amxmodx so doing a search for all of the things that and admin can do is pretty pointless.rnrnJust forget about the plugin.

Also, investigate HLSW, just google it, i forgot the site - you can remotely monitor and rcon your server, see all commands being executed, keep track of users, etc. It answers a lot of the requests people have been having, including, possibly, yours. It's worth a look.

rnrnrnI have been using HLSW for 5 or 6 years now. Whatever their very first version was.

Well, apart from HLSW or the amx logs, I don't see what the need is... but if you were interested in specific commands, there are way to ensure that a plugin writes to the amx logs when it does things, I've never done it, but seen commands for that in the lists of amx functions.

rnrnrnthis is the reason i dont give any of my admins cvar or cfg abilities.rnI have my server running with unreal hitreg and i dont want anything to mess it up. LOL. But then again most servers on the net dont run at 1000 ticrate.
