So my server from time to time and on random maps, will drop all the players for 4-5 mins, then allow everyone to connect again. It doesn't crash, it just timesout for 4-5 mins. I can still connect to the FTP, but not the game.rnrnI filed a trouble ticket with the company we use and they said it was a plugin problem. I put "debug" behind the ones they said were giving me problems.rnrnThis is a small bit of what it's saying:rnrnL 07/30/2008 - 00:20:34: Info (map "dod_simpsons") (file "addons/amxmodx/logs/error_20080730.log")rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:20:34: Couldn't write file "dod/addons/amxmodx/configs/tks/STEAM_0_0_13842358.txt"rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:20:34: [AMXX] Displaying debug trace (plugin "dod_tkrevenge_rain.amxx")rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:20:34: [AMXX] Run time error 10: native error (native "write_file")rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:20:34: [AMXX] [0] dod_tkrevenge_rain.sma::client_disconnect (line 649)rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:20:34: Couldn't write file "dod/addons/amxmodx/configs/tks/STEAM_0_0_1044456.txt"rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:20:34: [AMXX] Displaying debug trace (plugin "dod_tkrevenge_rain.amxx")rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:20:34: [AMXX] Run time error 10: native error (native "write_file")rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:20:34: [AMXX] [0] dod_tkrevenge_rain.sma::client_disconnect (line 649)rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:20:34: [AMXX] Displaying debug trace (plugin "deagsmapmanage230b.amxx")rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:20:34: [AMXX] Run time error 4: index out of bounds rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:20:34: [AMXX] [0] deagsmapmanage230b.sma::client_disconnect (line 226)rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:50:39: Start of error session.rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:50:39: Info (map "dod_donner") (file "addons/amxmodx/logs/error_20080730.log")rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:50:39: Couldn't write file "dod/addons/amxmodx/configs/tks/STEAM_0_0_3941953.txt"rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:50:39: [AMXX] Displaying debug trace (plugin "dod_tkrevenge_rain.amxx")rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:50:39: [AMXX] Run time error 10: native error (native "write_file")rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:50:39: [AMXX] [0] dod_tkrevenge_rain.sma::client_disconnect (line 649)rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:50:39: Couldn't write file "dod/addons/amxmodx/configs/tks/STEAM_0_1_9179136.txt"rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:50:39: [AMXX] Displaying debug trace (plugin "dod_tkrevenge_rain.amxx")rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:50:39: [AMXX] Run time error 10: native error (native "write_file")rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:50:39: [AMXX] [0] dod_tkrevenge_rain.sma::client_disconnect (line 649)rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:50:39: [AMXX] Displaying debug trace (plugin "deagsmapmanage230b.amxx")rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:50:39: [AMXX] Run time error 4: index out of bounds rnL 07/30/2008 - 00:50:39: [AMXX] [0] deagsmapmanage230b.sma::client_disconnect (line 226)rnrnrnAny suggestion?

..maybe you have plugin/addon with time-critical-procedures like sql-requests, soap-interface-requests(from gameserver to http/web-urls) that can stall(freeze) your gameserver mostly. reason for stall is wrong or bad logic in coding of that request.. for sql you have to look if the requests that your plugins done are threded instead of realtime ..and maybe another reason for that can be that the routing from gameserver(plugin) to sql-host have loss(loss pakets) or temporary no routing to an host. an good code will work with that facts and using timeouts and worst chase coding to defeat any hangups or resulting errors .

question is if you can find the problem plugin - maybe you have to watch the code of your plugins for bad coding - if you can you can change the programm for better working - if you dont know how or/and unsure it is better to search for an plugin that work better.
