Hi guysrnrnA few mates came over to lan with DoD the other day and we were having mad fun, but wanted to get rid of team balance so we could just play against 10 or so bots. rnrnI came across this place and have been trying to add metamod and amxmod. I've done everything by the book, but unfortunately dod isn't loading. I start a new game and before it gets to the loading bar it just closes...rnrnI'm not running a dedicated server (which i assume is a client server?). I've got it to run with metamod without running config.ini, but whenever I do, it crashes. All that is in the config file isrn

gamedll dlls/STURM_bot.dll

rnApparently that is the correct syntax. I've tried with and without " " and it still doesn't seem to work. Should I be putting that in the plugins file instead of the config?

i was never able to get bots working using the config.ini with metamod.. i always assumed i was doing it wrong..nndoes the server run without bots and just metamod + amxx?nnthe way i have my local running is:nnin /dod/liblist.gamn

gamedll "addonsmetamoddllsmetamod.dll"

in /dod/autoexec.cfgn

localinfo mm_gamedll dlls/shrikebot.dll

in /dod/addons/metamod/plugins.inin

win32 addons/amxmodx/dlls/amxmodx_mm.dll

the directory structure might be a bit different then yours and im using shrikebot not sturmbot, but i would assume it would work with both and it might just give you somewhat of a direction for what you can try if youre having trouble with other methods and no one else responds with anything else
