It has to be in wav format I am pretty sure. Make sure its not in mp3. Can someone corroborate that?

any sounds you make has to be wav anything else won't play unless you have dod connections I believe but for mapping purposes you need to make them a wav file

Thank you guys for your quick answer. What I want is just to change some of the victory sounds with one I made. I put one where the original file was in the ambience folder, but when the team wins I hear no sound at all, yes is a .wav file about 5.04mb. Any other hint, please?

that might be a little to big should check the old sound and see if it is the same size and also don't for get to do a res file with the new sound so it can be picked up with the other files , you just might have to add it to the bsp file as well

Thanks man, I think I know what you mean. As for adding the sound to the bsp can you guide on that one please? I have no experience what so ever in mapping but I know there is a little tool to view bsp's, do you remember what tool is it? and can I use it to add the sound? Thanks again for yous time and patience :)
