Since so many people don’t understand how to compile their plugins, I am giving a brief guide.rnrnA couple of things to watch for. First is that if you update amxx, make sure you grab the new scripting directory. Functions change. You should keep the same version of compiler as what’s installed on your server.rnrnThe first step is to get the scripting directory. There are two ways of doing this. First is you could download it from your servers amxmodx directory. Second you can download amxx from the amxx website. Make sure you get the dod addon =DrnrnOk, now that you have the directory, put your sma file in it. Lets say we are going to compile a plugin called amx_snow.sma. rnrn(disreguard the AMXX-Studio and CVS_DoDPlugins directories...you wont have them)rnrnrnrnAll you have to do is drag the file you want to compile onto compile.exe rnrnrnrnThen you will get a box that pops up. If there are any errors, this is where it will show them. rnrnrnrnPress enter to close the box. Now go into the compiled directoryrnrnrnrnWOOHOO! You now have a compiled plugin. Put it in your plugins folder and add it to your plugins.ini.

n nif you downloaded the base amxx package for windows and took the scripting folder from it and used that as your base then you will have all the files you need (still need dod include files from dod package) but the compiler is in the base amxx package

I personally prefer the compiler here on dodplugins.net - its a lot nicer than the command line one, it give detailed errors for if you're trying to make your own plugins, instead of just ERROR, lol.. I'd recommend trying that.rnrnCya

I downloaded dod_customsupply.sma, dod_singlecaps.sma, and dod_unlimited_nades.sma from these forums, but when I try to compile using the web compiler it tells me the file is invalid for each of them. I also can't find compile.exe locally on my machine. Can anyone help me compile these? I really want to put them on my DOD server. Thanks in advance.

Did you check in /addons/amxmodx/scripting folder? Also your Anti-Virus may block or remove some of the Pawn compiler files. Once the compile.exe is successfully done, look inside /addons/amxmodx/scripting/compiled folder and extract them into /addons/amxmodx/plugins
