Just for info rnI had a problem installing metamod 1.19p32 the other night.rnrnStopped server, uploaded metamod file with exact same name as previous file.rnRestarted server but would not start. rnafter lots of messing around i.e turning off amxmodx in ini file and metamod started. rnI finally found the problem using notepad++rnrn(I know it sounds silly) There was a blank line at the start of my plugins.ini file rnbefore this line.rnlinux addons/amxmodx/dlls/amxmodx_mm_i386.sornrnI removed the blank line (no extra characters there and all was OKrnrnAlso thanks to Iron_man for sending me his file as I thought it was a corrupt file that had stuffed me.

Always use text editors that keep the structure of the document intact, such as,rnhttp://www.editpadpro.com/editpadlite.html or http://www.crimsoneditor.com FREErnrnAlso if you have to compare files to one another use either Beyond compare http://www.scootersoftware.com or winmerge http://winmerge.org. FREErnrnHere is an excellent little proggy that compares text entries and if theres duplicate finds, it will remove the duplicates. Great for cleaning you're banned.cfg of duplicate entries. (duplifind) http://www.bmtmicro.com/BMTCatalog/win/duplifind.htmlrnFREE to see the duplicate entries but have to purchase to remove them.rn;)

Then i'll make my final norton ghost image and i'll never have to reformat again. I can restore and 25 gig Ghost image in about an hour.rnThat beats 11 hours to reformat and reinstall all of my stuff. :)

lol wow 11 hours...rnrnlast night i setup a new hard drive with xp and vista dual booting and got all my stuff back on and working on both within a few hoursrnrnJust to give you an idea of what a power user i am. After i did the reformat within 48 hours I had 12 icons 14 rows wide with zero space on my desktop.rnrnI have so many programs to setup in order to create my ghost image, It just takes that long. I have 7 external HDD's and two internal for a whopping grand total of 5/1.2 terabites of storage. 51.000 mp's and almost 1100 ripped dvds that i encoded myself to Divx. I think somethings wrong with me. Rofl.

linux v windows = .so file to .dllrnrnso if it's a windows server you need the .dll files if it's linux you need the .sornif that makes any sense to you. So assuming that you have metamod installed just replace your metamod file making sure that it has the same name as the one you replace or change the name in the plugins.ini filernrnlinux addons/amxmodx/dlls/amxmodx_mm_i386.sornrnorrnrnlinux addons/amxmodx/dlls/what_erver_you_call_it.so rnrnIf you don't have metamod installed then follow the link and read the bit about installing metamodrnrnhttp://wiki.amxmodx.org/Installing_AMX_Mod_X_Manually

It only comes as a tar.gz file that I don't have the resources to unpack to the .so.
