rnIt was hinted about the possibility of having a plugin restoring the functionality of func_tracktrain in DoD. It is fully working in HL and CS, but not DoD. Is this possible?

I hope you appreciate this. What started out as a curiosity, turned into an obsession. And I spent all day Friday on this. I was successful in getting the tracktrain to work on my one sample (de_survivor). But I'm looking for another example to verify that it fixes it. Also, I don't have a sample that empliments the func_traincontrol entity, so I haven't been able to verify whether or not it still works with my fix. So while thing look very promising, nothing's confirmed yet. And I hate to jump the gun and end up looking stupid.

I'm pretty sure this will fix it for you. It worked for me.rnrnThe problem isn't with the func_tracktrain, but instead, its with the path_track entities. And the trick is to block the resetting of the 'path_track' entities upon map start. Why this works, IDK.rnrnIn the zip I've included the plugin (source and compiled) and a sample map that uses a tracktrain with controller. It runs fine.rnrnEnjoy

Amazing man, thank you so much. However I'm unable to download the zip file, it says "attachment pending approval". Is it possible for you to host it some other place meanwhile waiting approval here?nnHowever I'm sure it will be great when I get it down. Thanks a lot, youre great!
